NILA Team Structure

Each member of NILA's Board of Directors volunteers for one of our standing teams, each with its own leader. NILA has a "working" Board that helps drive the activities of the organization and ensures that we are staying true to our mission.

Strategic Focus

Leader – Judy Potter

Focus – To review the strategic plan at least twice per year to ensure it’s quality and commitment to the mission, vision, purpose, and values of NILA.

Government

Leader – Kathi Crowe

Members – Rosemary Iavenditti, Karolyn Gould, Eileen McCaffrey

Focus – To educate and work with all levels and forms of government in order to have the resources to best advocate for youth and best practice services.

Youth/Adult Partnership

Leader – Makeisha Williams

Focus – To encourage and support the participation of youth members and determine the most appropriate ways of giving and receiving information to/from them.

Communications

Leader – Rhonda Dyer

Focus – To review and assist with all NILA communications.

Fund/Membership Development

Leader – Richard Hlavacek

Focus – To assist with fund development and increase membership.
